Our communities host year-round festivals and events from long-standing: Gathering of the Scots, Paint the Heartland, and Old Home Week, to new events including: Festival of Flavour, Larlee Creek Hullabaloo, and the Dooryard Arts Festival. These events serve to increase civic pride and are centered on art, music or food, and offer both the travelling tourist and the local citizen great entertainment!

Shop one of the weekly Farm Markets for fresh produce or local art, walk or bike the trails, golf at one of four courses, have a family picnic at one of the shelters or enjoy shopping at local retail shops.
